29 Apr Young Ballymena United Prodigy Steps Up
Year 12 Ulidia student Dylan Graham recently broke through the ranks to make his debut for the men’s first team at Ballymena United. With both current goalkeepers out with injuries it has opened the door for Dylan to show that he is ready for top level football.
Manager David Jeffrey was quick to show his admiration on his first performance and sounded out Dylan Graham for a terrific display on his debut in a 2-2 draw against Glentoran. Although he endured a difficult start to the game he bounced back brilliantly to produce a steady performance. Speaking to the media after the match manager David Jeffrey said he was “delighted” the 16-year-old had a positive result on his debut against the Glens.
Dylan who in the past was part of Glentoran academy, being seen making his first team debut for Ballymena and coming away with a positive result and a solid performance against his former side where he started his career was also a bonus for Dylan.
Mr Donnelly, Head of Boys PE said “This is an amazing achievement for Dylan at such a young age, he is certainly one to watch, we wish him the best of luck in the years ahead.”
