A Level Photography Tour of Belfast

A Level Photography Tour of Belfast

On the 28th September 2018 the Year 13 and 14 photography and art students made a trip into Belfast to take some images of the city for their projects.

We started off at The MAC art gallery in the Cathedral Quarter, the students explored the area known for its cultural significance to the arts and culture of Belfast, photographing graffiti by local artists, alleyways and the historical architecture of the area.

We then moved onto Belfast city centre, students used this opportunity to photograph the remains of the recent fire at the historical Bank Buildings as well as other iconic buildings of Belfast such as the City hall.

We then made our way up to Queens University where we explored and photographed the interior and exterior architecture of the building. Our final stop was the Botanic gardens, where we got the chance photographed the Palm house and tropical ravine.
