Year 10 Safeguarding Workshop

This morning all Year 10 pupils engaged in a really important and interesting workshop on Child Sexual Exploitation facilitated by our colleagues in Child Protection Services, PSNI, Education Welfare & School Nursing.

The workshop covered some really important safeguarding issues about healthy and unhealthy relationships, the legal issues around relationships between young people & where young people can go to seek advice and help if they are concerned or worried about anything.

Our Year 10 pupils engaged really well in the workshop and our visitors were impressed with the maturity shown and the contributions from the groups.

A pack of information was provided to each pupil at the end of the session and if further details are needed, they are available from Miss Connolly.
