02 Feb Year 13 take on The Dragons!
Learners in year 13 Travel and Tourism have to research, develop and present a business plan for a feasible project within a set financial restriction, as part of their Level 3 studies. In order to complete this area of their studies, this year the students were given the task of preparing the credit trip for the school.
Students worked in groups of 3 to 4 to conduct market research, develop a business plan and a marketing campaign for their planned trip.
On Thursday 26th January, the students presented their plans to members of the Board of Governors and to the Principal in a ‘Dragons Den’ style event. All learners demonstrated professionalism and thorough knowledge and understanding during the event. Well done to our year 13 Travel and Tourism students!
