STEM Module returns to Ulidia

STEM Module returns to Ulidia

Last week at Ulidia we welcomed back the ever popular STEM Module. The STEM Module is a mobile laboratory and workshop designed to bring high quality learning experiences in STEM subjects to pupils. Here the Year 10, 11 and 12 GCSE pupils experienced different CAD/CAM Manufacturing techniques including CNC Routers, Mills, Lathes, Laser Cutting and Rapid Prototyping using 3D printing.

All pupils thoroughly enjoyed the session, aimed at encouraging more pupils to follow a career in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
