02 Jun Ulidia Receives Fair Trade Award
Ulidia Integrated College has been awarded the Fair Trade Active Award by the Fair Trade Foundation. The award was received in recognition of the work that not just the eco team but the whole school has done to actively encourage fair trade.
Fair trade is studied within Geography, Home Economics and LLW across the key stages.
The eco team has worked hard to promote fair trade by hosting a fair trade stall at the Christmas Fair, hosting fair trade decorating events, promoting awareness through Green Day workshops and by holding a whole school fair trade quiz competition.
The eco team are looking forward to working with our twin school in Madagascar to develop this further in the next academic year.
