24 Apr Integrated Cup Hockey Tournament
The Year 8 girls took part in the Integrated Cup hockey tournament on Friday 15th March. 6 integrated schools took part with all teams playing each other.
Results as follows
- Ulidia V Lagan W 1-0
- Ulidia V Slemish D 0-0
- Ulidia V Strangford W 4-0
- Ulidia V Sperrin W 2-0
- Ulidia V Shimna W 4-0
In total the girls won 4 matches, drew one and scored 11 goals so came home unbeaten. We had the same points as Slemish College so had to go to goals scored which was also the same so had to play a final match. This ended 0-0 and time had run out so it was decided to share the title with Slemish so they are now the Northern Ireland Y8 Integrated Hockey winners.
Congratulations to all the girls that played as they demonstrated a great level of skill and determination but were also courteous and pleasant with it.
